Yes, if you have a Master’s degree or doctoral degree, you can apply for an undergraduate degree at NUTM. You may be required to take the Jamb Exam.
No, there is no application fee.
No. You have the option to save parts of the application as you proceed. You can complete the online application in multiple sittings.
There is no predefined number for applicants called for interviews. All eligible candidates will be evaluated. The final class size will be determined based on the quality of applications received and the performance of each applicant.
The interviews will refer to, but will not be limited to, the information and responses provided in your application form. Be prepared to answer specific questions on your essay, motivations and ambition.
It is mandatory for all applicants to submit their jamb slips. Failing to do so may lead to a rejection of your application.
Scanned copies and passport photographs are to be uploaded with the application. A sighting of the original will be required upon registration.
Yes. You can reapply but not within the same academic year. You will have to submit a fresh application the following year.
Currently, offered applicants cannot defer their admission. Applicants will have to reapply at the desired time.
Tuition - ₦2m per Academic Year Accommodation only - N500k per Academic Year
A non-refundable acceptance fee of ₦250,000 is due upon acceptance of the offer, while the rest of the tuition fee is payable by the specified due date.
Yes, you can pay tuition fees in instalments but only up till the specified tuition fee due date.
Yes, you can pay your fees on an annual basis or a semester basis. The due dates for each semester would be communicated to admitted students.

There is an attendance policy. Out of all the classes for each course taught. A student may be liable to receive a grade cut, or an F grade for poor attendance that will result in having no credits for the course.
The B.Sc. Computer Science / B.Sc. Cybersecurity / B.Sc. Information Technology curriculum are very intense and the NSP schedule is busy and runs Monday through Friday and sometimes on Saturday. We do not encourage working full or part-time during your degree.
English is the official language at NUTM. All instructions, applications, lectures and results will be delivered in English. We encourage all applicants to have an advanced level of English proficiency.
Applications are processed on a rolling basis. The status of your application will be communicated to you via email within three weeks following your interview. The earlier you apply, the earlier your application will be reviewed.
No, students are expected to pay for their meals while on campus. A refectory will be available for students to purchase their meals. Fees only cover tuition and accommodation. Students must purchase their own course materials. Meals, travel and allowances are not provided by NUTM.
Our campus is located at 6 Freetown road, Apapa, Lagos.
Yes, you can live in your own off-campus apartment. Note that you would be required to promptly attend all academic and mandatory extracurricular activities.
Yes, you can pay accommodation fees in instalments but only up till the accommodation fee due date specified. You can pay your accommodation fees on an annual basis or a semester basis. The due dates for each semester would be communicated to admitted students.
Interviews are conducted by members of the NUTM admissions team.
There is no right or wrong answer, but the essays are an opportunity to demonstrate your commitment, mindset and ambition.

No. You will have to fund your own travel to and from the university.
No. You are not required to send us a printed copy of the application form.
Yes, but not in 100 Level. NUTM will be offering undergraduate programs for the first time in 2023. Other level transfers will begin in 2024.

Yes, you will need to submit at least one parent’s information and passport photograph as part of your application.
The minimum duration of computing programs at NUTM is four (4) academic sessions or eight (8) consecutively run semesters for candidates who enter through the UTME Mode.
Yes, but not in 100 Level.
There are two mandatory SIWES in 200 Level and 300 Level. However, students may engage in optional SIWES.
